Celebrity Ball for Famous Texans
If you could eat dinner with any famous person – who would it be? Why would you choose that person? Celebrity Ball for Famous Texans requires students to work with a partner to research, 
role play and create a resume, speech, and business card for a famous Texan. They will choose their roles, research their topic, make props, write a resume, and role play their famous Texan. The student acting as the Press Agent will walk around, pass out business cards, and
promote their famous Texan. The student
Actor will mingle, portray their famous Texan, and sign
autographs. As a writing for understanding processing activity, students will write a review of the Celebrity Ball from the point of view of a society or lifestyle reporter.
